Vodka Valt came into existence in a rare moment of inspiration, genius, or madness (most likely all three). In the dark confines of a Manhattan bar, two Scotsmen concocted the preposterous concept of a vodka so refined, so cool, and so pure that it could only be created in one way. First, they needed to call upon the unique skills of Scottish distillers. This authentic methodology is then carried through with the insistence of using only Scottish malted barley and Scottish mountain water. Finally, since no suitable method of distillation actually existed, an entirely new procedure had to be invented. And thus was born the unique and decidedly un-traditional, quintuple micro-distillation technique here employed.
After months of hard work, the idea became a reality in New York, and Valt was distilled for the first time during the celebrations of St. Andrew’s day. The result is a refined vodka unique in its peculiar hot melted butter aftertaste.
