Esterlin is a maison that uses grapes from 200 different vignerons, most of them placed in the Cote de Blancs, the great area for the production of Chardonnay grapes. Chardonnay is the most commonly used variety of grapes in Champagne Esterlin and it gives the wine a distinctive natural taste and freshness.
Champagne Esterlin adopts an unusual winemaking process which removes the need for malolactic fermentation. Its winemakers strongly believe that the natural character of the region can only be expressed through this special technique.
For the last few years Champagne Esterlin has adhered to a strict set of environmental protection rules, and the Maison has now been certified as a “High Value Environmental” (HVE) producer.
